Building a Bike Camper
I love cycling and have been running a neighborhood bike repair business out of my garage called "Stokes Spokes Bike Repair and Tuning". I enjoy camping too and so I built a trailer that could be towed behind a bicycle, and slept in! But, how do you come up with something like that you may ask? Check out what I created using the base idea of a former Boeing employee named Paul Elkins. Here's a little clue... talk to people running for office in your home town!
Making an Impact
Prairie High School didn't have an active Skills USA club after the Covid shutdown. I worked with our faculty to get our club up and running and have served as president, vice president and the secretary. Our club now has twenty-three members and is continuing to grow!
Future Projects: Classic Cars & More!
I'm really into classic cars, cycling, and designing things for myself, my friends, and my family. I hope to one day be able to rebuild a classic car that I can use as my daily driver.
I also have plans to build my own reliable electric bike from recycled parts along with a custom, bike towable, camper trailer.
I'm really excited to keep working hard to learn and grow my knowledge so that I can more easily take on these fun new challenges.
